So today I'm going to tell you a funny story.  No, not the one about the Gorilla and the party bus (although that is a good one), but a story of why I was unable to post last week.  My Internet connection was down.  Suffice it to say that AOL sucks (that is not only my opinion, but the opinion of many).  I'm sorry.  Wow, that didn't take long at all!  Now I have all this free time to ramble on for days at a time about lord only knows what!  The cool thing about not having a hit counter that works is not knowing how many people don't care!  Like most of them!  But not you, my literally tens of devoted fans.  You are special.  Yes that's it.  Sucker them in.  Why did I type that?  More importantly, why did I type, 'Why did I type that'?  No matter.  On with my summer movie reviews:

Batman Begins - 4 out of 5 stars.  Although Tim Burton's 'Batman' and 'Batman Returns' had stunning gothic feel, amazing cinematography and Jack Nicholson as the Joker (not to mention Christopher Walken in 'Returns'), Christopher Nolan (who also directed Insomnia and Memento) brought the gritty graphic novel feel to the movie.  Batman's perching on rooftops, soaring over Gotham, and disappearing into the shadows are a testament to the directors embrace of the novels that many have come to love.  Plus this movie has ninjas.  Mother &!@#$* ninjas!  Samurai ninjas and crap!  Plus who will ever forget Liam Neeson's portrayal of yet another sword instructor (also see Star Wars Ep. I, Gangs of New York, etc).  The part where Liam is dying in Batman's arms, and he makes Batman promise that he "Will train the boy', brought a tear to my eye.  I'm sure even Batman could see that the boy was the chosen one.

Until this time next week, here is your horoscope:  You will soon be as Vanilla Ice, a reject, trying to make a comeback.  In a world that considers you a reject.  And an idiot.  A no talent hack.  Your glass is half full!  Your lucky number is " ô ".  Good luck finding that on a lottery ticket.
